Go-to-market strategy and execution for B2B companies

Make your revenue repeatable.

You have a growth target, but sales still depend on you or a few key people. I'll find what's working and build a repeatable way for your team to find, win and grow customers. If you need deals closed in the meantime, I can do that too.

Your revenue target is clear. How you'll hit it isn't.

Some months the deals come in. Some months they don't. The best ones still run through you, your partners or one or two people, and nobody can say exactly why you win or lose. And the people who sell are usually busy running everything else, so the pipeline slows whenever they are.

Maybe you've already hired a salesperson to fix that, and it didn't stick. Without a documented process and the materials to support them, a new hire is left guessing at what you know by instinct.

The other usual fixes are slow. An agency or a big consultancy takes months and hands you a deck.

I work with B2B companies, typically $3M to $50M in revenue, with an offer that already sells, where growth still runs through the founder, the partners or a few key people.

Operating partners: I can start with one portfolio company and carry what works to the rest.

How I work

I work fast and pragmatically. When revenue is the priority, a clear offer in front of buyers this week beats a perfect one next quarter, and real buyer feedback sharpens it from there.

Start here

Discovery

In about a week, I learn how revenue actually happens in your business: how you find buyers, win deals and grow accounts, and the materials and tools behind it. You get a plan showing where you are, where you should be, and how to get there. No fee and no obligation.

↓ Then one or both

Build

I fill the gaps discovery found. That might mean launching a landing page for a new offer, building a tool that surfaces your strongest case studies for each deal to help it close, or creating a plan to grow your biggest accounts. Your team owns all of it.

Hands-on execution

I work inside your team to close deals, source pipeline, grow existing accounts and run the new process, so it's proven in real deals instead of handed over on paper.

A toolkit built for this work

I bring automated tools I've built for research, account briefs, proposals, content and pipeline, and they run in your own accounts. It's why I can move quickly, and you keep your copy of the tools when we're done.

About me

I'm Bing Chou, Founder & Principal of Upshift Revenue. For 16 years I've grown B2B software and services companies, both as the person carrying the number and as the leader building the team around it.

Most recently, at a private equity-acquired software consultancy, I managed the firm's largest client portfolio, winning and growing startup, mid-market and enterprise clients. I also led go-to-market: I defined the ideal customer profile, ran marketing and revenue operations, managed a marketer and the firm's first client partner, and built the reporting I brought to quarterly board meetings.

Before that, I was the first person beyond the founding team to own sales and account management at a web development firm later acquired by Cognizant. I made its first business development hires and created paid workshops that doubled as a lead source. I've also been a founding member of a venture-backed startup, and I've run paid search and SEO myself.

I started Upshift Revenue for companies that can't wait a quarter for a new hire to ramp or six months for an agency. You work with me directly, from the first conversation to closed deals.
